Weteinc is a small, minority-owned, woman-owned, SBA Certified 8(a) business founded in 2004 that focuses on enterprise applications, program management, and financial management in the Federal arena. Our leaders average 17 years experience solving public sector challenges, using both technology and non-technical solutions. We understand the power of technology and tools to leverage both government and private-sector expertise, but we also understand the potential for some organizations to become too focused on their technology, and lose sight of the overall goals and objectives. The leaders of Weteinc have extensive experience in the IT program management and financial management areas. We understand how well-intentioned programs can go in unintended directions. We strongly believe that the people most qualified to provide PMO and related services to these types of programs are those that have been responsible for tough implementations – we have been there, and we know where both the opportunities and the pitfalls reside. Weteinc’s team members have been implementing technology and financial management solutions for the Federal government for over 20 years. Our consultants are former partners at some of the larger integrators, and focus on program management, financial systems, grants management, procurement, and other technology solutions to improve an agency’s operations. They hold an unblemished record in “go-lives” for a wide variety of clients and are mostly Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM). Weteinc’s team members led the implementation of Education’s Oracle Federal Financials solution, resulting in its first clean audit opinion in over five years. They implemented Oracle Federal financials at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and provided strategic guidance to the DOT CFO for the department-wide DELPHI Oracle Financials implementation. Other major projects include the implementation of PeopleSoft Financials for Ginnie Mae, as well as the PeopleSoft e-Payroll migration for the U.S. Department of Labor.
